Valentine’s Day is a day set aside for couples to celebrate their love for one another. Going out together, a few cocktails and a refined meal — that can be fun. However, a night in can be just as fulfilling. Here’s a list of the best movies to watch on Valentine’s Day with your significant other…

Dirty Dancing

No one says you have to watch an Oscar-winning arthouse movie on Valentine’s Day. And Dirty Dancing is definitely not that. But it’s a lot of fun, and for many people, a nostalgic favorite. Maybe you and your partner can practice some of the moves!

As Good As It Gets

Couples that laugh together, stay together. So why not watch one of the greatest, funniest romantic comedies on Valentine’s Day? As Good As It Gets features great writing, memorable characters and one of the best lines ever. Hint: it happens when Helen Hunt’s character demands a compliment from Jack Nicholson’s character.

Before Sunrise

Ever dream of spending a night wandering in Vienna only to fall suddenly and madly in love with a French woman (or man, if you insist)? Watch those dreams come to life in Before Sunrise, a beautifully-shot and memorable romantic film. The chemistry between actors Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy is palpable.

If you happen to be single on Valentine’s Day, do not watch these movies. You may want to try something more like this.

Redesigned 2018 GMC Terrain Debuts At 2017 NAIAS

GMC took the opportunity to present the completely redesigned 2018 GMC Terrain at the 2017 North American International Auto Show. Needless to say, the new design was a big hit with the fans in attendance. Many in the automotive press also found themselves impressed.

Design

Henry Payne, of The Detroit News, made a few remarks that got to the heart of the new design’s appeal, “Shedding nearly 500 pounds, the turbo-4 powered Terrain should ride as good as it looks.”

He’s right. This is one good-looking small SUV. It features a bold and redesigned grille, C-shaped wraparound LED signature lighting and is also available with 19-inch wheels.

Power

The redesigned 2018 GMC Terrain comes available with your choice of three, count’em three, turbocharged powertrains. There’s the efficient 1.5-liter four-cylinder. The more powerful 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder pumps out 252 horsepower. There’s also a turbocharged diesel four-cylinder option.

Variety

The Traction Select will return again — naturally. Available now on the 2017 model, this system lets you pick different driving modes to match road conditions. You can choose Off-Road, Snow, Sport, or Trailer/Tow.

The redesigned 2018 GMC Terrain is competing in an awfully crowded segment, but should benefit from the early exposure it got at the 2017 NAIAS.
